Did you know that you should massage your kale before you serve it? I just learned this too. Massaging your kale helps soften it. For a simple kale salad that I enjoy, here are some ingredients and instructions:
What you need:
-Grape seed oil (you can also use avocado oil, olive oil or walnut oil)
-Freshly grated parmesean cheese (grate from a block of parm. cheese)
-salt & pepper
Place washed kale in a salad bowl. Drizzle oil over the kale and add enough salt and pepper for your liking. Roll up your sleeves, wash your hands and massage the kale, coating the kale evenly with oil and salt and pepper. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds. Next, grate the fresh parmesean over the salad. Serve and enjoy!
